About the programme

A clear route for creators who see Liverpool differently

The Liverpool Creator Programme gives creators a permanent, shareable place to discover Sidemersey Livings and introduce a collaboration idea.

We welcome visitors to Liverpool for city breaks, events, work, family visits and longer stays. Because each creator brings a different format, community and perspective, we do not publish a standard creative brief or prescribe what the finished work should look like.

Instead, we invite you to explain what you would genuinely like to create, why Liverpool is relevant to your work and how a stay with Sidemersey Livings could fit the idea.

Programme principles

Open in format. Selective in fit.

The programme is intended to begin a credible conversation. It is not an automatic offer of free accommodation.

01

Your idea comes first

We want to understand the concept you would naturally pursue, rather than directing you towards a standard post, video or itinerary.

02

Relevance matters more than scale

Audience fit, subject matter, originality and quality are considered together. Follower numbers alone do not determine suitability.

03

Every arrangement is individual

Property, dates, availability and the form of any collaboration are discussed only after we have reviewed the proposal.

Who may be a strong fit

Creators with a genuine connection to the stay

There is no single creator category we require. We are most interested in proposals where the creator, audience and Liverpool context make sense together.

A proposal is more likely to stand out when

  • Your existing work has a clear subject, voice or point of view.
  • Your audience is likely to value Liverpool, travel, accommodation or local discovery.
  • The proposal feels specific to your platform rather than copied from a generic pitch.
  • You can explain why Sidemersey Livings is relevant to the idea.
  • Your communication and previous work demonstrate professionalism.

We are not looking for

  • Requests based only on follower count.
  • Generic messages sent to multiple accommodation providers.
  • Unclear proposals that provide no audience or platform context.
  • Guaranteed complimentary stays without prior review.
  • Travel commitments made before written confirmation.

How it works

From introduction to possible collaboration

Step 1

Review the programme

Decide whether Liverpool, our brand and the type of stay we provide fit your work.

Step 2

Send an introduction

Share your principal public platforms, audience context and preferred dates.

Step 3

Present your idea

Explain the collaboration in your own terms and why you believe it could be a strong fit.

Step 4

Discuss suitability

If there is a potential match, we will discuss availability and a possible arrangement directly.

What to send

A concise introduction is enough

There is no application form and no required proposal template. A clear, relevant email is the best starting point.

Please include

  • Your name or creator name.
  • Links to your main public platforms or website.
  • A brief description of your subject area and audience.
  • Your preferred dates or approximate period.
  • Your proposed Liverpool collaboration idea.
  • Relevant examples of previous work, where available.

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch

Does applying guarantee a complimentary stay?

No. Every proposal is considered individually and depends on relevance, suitable availability and a separately agreed arrangement.

Do creators have to follow a fixed content brief?

No. The programme is creator-led. We ask applicants to explain their own idea and why it suits their audience and Sidemersey Livings.

Is there a minimum follower requirement?

We do not publish a fixed minimum. Relevance, originality, quality, audience alignment and professionalism are considered together.

Can creators apply for specific dates or properties?

Yes, preferred dates or a property preference may be included, but suitability and availability can only be confirmed after review.

How long does the review take?

We review suitable proposals as operational capacity allows. Creators should not make travel commitments unless an arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
